Artist's Comments

I drew this a long time ago vectored it a while ago and added the simple background just now.
I drew this for no real reason, but now that I'm making a game with Death (the person) I decided to vector it so later on I can use it for something.
Why it has a pentacle inside of it's design, is because I drew it that way back a few years for no real reason and kept it in the design for 1: it didn't look as good without it 2: I might make it a characters weapon (1 of the 5 summoners [you would need to now the story, which you won't find here at DA] I have planned to use a scythe, so she may use this one).

EDIT (03-13-2007)
So after much time I decided to finally fix all the errors I made long ago and never sumbit the change. Seeing how this has somehow become my galleries top fav recently I have finally decided that I should submit the better image. Whats the difference?; I kept the image size in the same size it was made in (in the old version I shrunk it down because dial-up was what everybody had), I removed to border around the handle and blade (it just caused too much of a jagged edge), and lastly I added a light gradient to the fills.

Thanks for the comment.:)
I didn't relize it but I guess I did give it a somewhat tribal effect.

:Gasp!: That is the best scythe I have EVER seen!

That would so hurt if that sliced you in the gut.

Oh, that's so awesome!

Thanks for the "best scythe I have EVER seen!".
Personally I think it would hurt more to be impaled by the back end of this scythe than it front, since there is multiple spikes then multiple edges.

Thanks. :). If I saw anyone with this as a design for a tattoo I would defiantly know its a good design, I would think they were crazy since it would be on them for life, but I would know it is a good design. Thanks. :).

Indeed I agree.

Either way though, it would hurt if any part of your body got sliced by that thing. It makes me happy just to look at the pretty scythe. xD

I'm a big Death fan.

You would like the game I'm working on then, in short its about this guy William (you play as him) hes the hero, he is trying to find this insane psycho summoner person named Johnny, Johnny is trying to prove that he had seen Death as a child because no one believes him, William is trying to find this guy because he was hired to find and kill him for a reward a hero status in the kingdom that Johnny lived in. Johnny is fast though and he causes alot of havoc along the way, which William is suppose to correct, this slows him down. Throughout the whole story there is alot of death (of course) and alot of talk of Death.
