I really hate my gallery's current most popular deviation, (the other scythe in my gallery) I do like it, it's nice but I just can't understand why it alone gets so many page views and favorites. Meanwhile my other deviations hardly even get notice. I'm certain that doing more fanart would really help even out the view/fav balance in my gallery but then again pr0n would probably have better results at this point, I don't really want to see if it would though as I'd be annoyed that my most favorited/viewed deviation would be something that probably doesn't deserve it, unless of course, I really did put real effort into it. So in a somewhat cheap attempt to at least curve those numbers in my gallery stats I figured if I put something up that could compete on the same level as my current highest it would hopefully turn out somewhat successful.
That being said, its a scythe. A mystic scythe. ==========================================
Started the sketch sometime in the middle of last year, has been through at least three revisions and submitted much later than it's completion date due to a busy schedule. Only alteration done after the scan was inverting the colors.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
